Jane Huschka is currently the Lead Visual Designer at Aereo.
Over the last nine months she’s transitioned Aereo, a brilliant tech startup with a schizophrenic visual identity into an audacious consumer facing brand. It’s been entrepreneurial but through non-stop iteration she’s refined existing materials to create a cohesive product marketing ecosystem, completed a comprehensive visual analysis of comparable lifestyle brands, and designed a spanking new identity for the launch of Aereo 2.0.
Prior to Aereo, Jane was the Senior Graphic Designer at RED-NYC where she led the design of campaigns and experiences for a broad spectrum of entertainment and non-profit clients including Civic Entertainment Group, Chase Community Giving, Channel 13, and the Apollo Theater.
She graduated with a BFA in Visual Communication from the University of Kansas.
Before that she lived on a farm. She drove a tractor for her dad in the summer. Buying a one way ticket off of the farm is still one of her greatest accomplishments. If she had a resume of personal greats it would also include founding the Friday Freshmix, being office basketball bracket bookie (8 years running), a connoisseur of Old Fashioneds, training for but never running a half marathon, and singlehandedly launching Netflix and Tinder into the stratosphere by word of mouth.
